Recently while in Rockland Trust (MEMO member) I had the accidental opportunity to meet and talk with Fran McCormack. Fran was one of the original founders of MEMO back in 1978. According to Fran in 1978 Old Colony Bank & Trust Company of Norfolk County opened a branch office in Medfield, where Middlesex Bank currently resides. Fran was president of Old Colony a the time and had moved to Medfield 2 years prior. According to Fran all the towns where Old Colony had branches
