Today, MEMO continues the 2025 Summer Concert Series with a performance by beloved local duo The Grass Gypsys—Colleen and Justin Kleya! This afternoon’s concert was held from 6-8 PM at the Gazebo next to the Medfield Public Library, and brought the community together for an evening of live music, fresh summer air, and picnic dinners in the park. The MEMO T-shirt raffle added extra fun to the evening. Today's event was proudly hosted by Hurley-Testa Construction, thank you for your support!
Known for their original roots music, The Grass Gypsys have toured across the country with a vibrant style that blends upbeat rock ‘n roll, heartfelt country ballads, and smooth, soulful jazz. With three full-length albums and a reputation for delivering high-energy, toe-tapping shows, their performances are full of joy, rhythm, and connection—a perfect soundtrack to a summer evening in Medfield.
Looking ahead to next Thursday, June 26th, we welcome Back Pages to the Gazebo stage. This talented rock cover band features three seasoned musicians with a passion for the classics. Their setlist includes beloved rock anthems performed with skill, heart, and plenty of sing-along moments. The evening will be hosted by Mulhall Withrow, PLLC and the GEICO Local Office—thank you for your support!
We also want to thank everyone who came out to last week’s incredible opening show featuring the Medfield High School and Blake Middle School jazz ensembles and choirs. Hope everyone enjoyed the ice cream truck! Special thanks to Lowell Mason House and Doherty, Dugan, Cannon, Raymond & Weil, PC for hosting that concert. Additionally, we thank Borchers Trust Law as well for underwriting the entire concert series and to all our other weekly host sponsors for supporting this treasured tradition.
The MEMO Summer Concert Series is brought to you by the Medfield Employers and Merchants Organization, a local business group that’s been supporting Medfield since 1979. MEMO works to promote local businesses and strengthen the community we all love.
